Seminar-cum-Exhibition
In 2001-2002 fiscal year MOSICT arranged 10 Seminars and 01 Exhibition on appropriate technology to disseminate the locally invented technology in the country. So far this programme has been carried out in each district of the country. At present Upazilla level local administration and the Ministry together are making arrangements for the two-day long seminar-cum-exhibition. Four core participants i.e., BCSIR, Public Health Engineering Dept., Local Govt. Division, Building and Housing Research Institution including other local level organizations i.e., Rural Electrification Board, local NGO's, educational Institutions, local farms and nurseries etc., are taking part in this event. In 2001-2002 fiscal year two-day long seminar-cum-exhibition were held in 10 Upazillas. The names of the Upazillas are mentioned below:

It was in Domar Upazilla of Nilphamari district. This event created noteworthy interest among the womenfolk on appropriate technology related to day-to-day household activities and materials.
